Shodokan aikido (昭 道 館 合 気 道 Aikido Shodokan) is a style of aikido founded by Kenji Tomiki (富 木 謙 治 Kenji Tomiki, 1900-1979). What distinguishes Shodokan aikido from other internationally recognized styles is the existence of competition. Shodokan emphasis on randori more than any other style of aikido.
According to Development strategy of Centre for Development of aikido 2014-2019, management of the Centre for Development of aikido has contacted the management of the Japan Federation Shodokan with the intention to become their members and representatives who will promote this style of Aikido in Serbia and region. Reasons for this form of action is agreement in attitudes in terms of aikido. For this purpose, Center send to the Executives of SAF (Shodokan Aikido Federation) an official Letter of intentions as well as link to this site that regularly monitors the activities of the Centre for the development of aikido.
SAF has considered our request and agreed to accept Center for Development of Aikido into its membership starting from 02/10/2014.
